Coming to America, K-fee USA wanted to make a splash with a brand-new website and marketing channels.
K-fee, already a beloved coffee brand in Germany, was looking to expand its presence in the United States and needed an e-commerce website and full marketing strategy to reach its new target markets. Our User Experience team created and launched K-fee's online shop in a little less than six months for a seamless retail experience. At the same time, our Digital Marketing team performed a cohesive industry and competitor analysis to craft a strategic go-to-market plan and launched all marketing channels on behalf of the K-fee team. Today, we manage K-fee's website maintenance and all strategic marketing efforts in the U.S.
K-fee System, founded by the Krüger Group in 2010, offers customers the latest multi-beverage system in unique coffee & espresso makers design. The high-quality, Swiss-engineered system and its patented technology stand for high quality in every detail. Together with the specially adapted pods and decades of experience of the Krüger Group, K-fee brings a unique added value to the coffee marketplace: perfect at-home brewing at the touch of a button.

When K-fee came to us with the idea of launching their brand in the U.S coffee market, we knew they needed to make a splash. With major players like Keurig and Nespresso already in the space, we needed to get a good grasp of where K-fee could fit and appeal to consumers. After a strategic analysis of the coffee market, target demographics, ad spend and more, we made marketing recommendations to the K-fee team on where their brand fit within the space and how to best reach their core audiences.
K-fee had a major coffee partnership prior to launching their own brand in America, but the problem was that no one knew that K-fee was the manufacturer behind the machine. When launching their own American brand, we leveraged their previous partnership to reach fans and drive conversations about the products they loved. Through specific keyword targeting and on-site optimizations, we topped some of the biggest competitors in the coffee space.
K-fee didn’t have a social media presence in America. The German manufacturer had a Facebook page, but it was solely focused on its European market. Through strategic audience profiling, we built K-fee’s Facebook and Instagram accounts and grew their presence from 0 followers to thousands in just a few short months, driving e-commerce purchases all the while. Through paid campaigns, strategic giveaways and micro-influencer partnerships engagements skyrocketed.
We took K-fee’s social following from 0 to thousands in less than six months. With strategic audience targeting, we made sure our creative assets spoke to K-fee’s customers.
Giveaways have proved to be a big success. Our first giveaway increased Facebook followers by 23% and Instagram followers by 557%. Engagement WoW increased by 398% on Facebook and 5,931% on Instagram.
Through monthly SEO optimizations for keywords, we took K-fee’s average search visibility to new heights, topping some of the coffee industry’s biggest players.
